The Gene Jury workshops are a fun and interactive way for school pupils aged 7 to 12 to explore modern bioscience and the impact it has on everyday life. After games and activities to explain the concepts, children have the opportunity to investigate and discuss a variety of case studies and, as "the jury", consider different attitudes and express their own opinion. The use of individual personal response "clickers" allows the children to respond in a fun and anonymous way.

Current workshops are:
- "Build a monster" for P4 and P5
- "Designer babies" for P6 to S1
- "GM'll Fix it?" for P6 to S1
- "Whose DNA is it anyway?" for P6 to S1

"The best science lesson ever!"
- S1 pupil, James Gillespie's High School
