Dr Lesley Wilkie
Director of Public Health, NHS Grampian
Dr Lesley Wilkie qualified in medicine at Glasgow University and trained as a General Practitioner in Scotland and Australia. After some time as a principal in general practice in Clydebank, she trained as a specialist in public health medicine in the North West of England and worked first as a Consultant then as Director of Public Health in Argyll and Clyde.
She was a Senior Medical Officer in the Chief Medical Officer’s Division at the Scottish Executive Health Department before taking up post in Grampian. She is married with 2 children.
