KILI4X: Conference on Fragile X Syndrome and Related Synaptopathies
Fragile X Syndrome (FXS) is the most common genetically inherited form of cognitive impairment. The Kili4X Conference on FXS and Related Synaptopathies will take place in Edinburgh from in 8th - 10th July 2010 and brings together international experts in the Fragile X Syndrome field to discuss the current data concerning the role of mGluRs in FXS, including the current state of clinical trials involving mGluR5 antagonists. It will also consider the cellular basis of related monogenic synaptopathies in order to gain insight into the cellular mechanism that underlie cognitive development.
